My heart again is broken, though this time not for some man, But because my daddy was taken; too soon I've always taken for granted that he would always be here, To spring my ideas off of: to simply lend a patient ear. But here I am, a woman, a grown up girl at best, with only a stone to talk to, in the place my daddy rests.
I've so much living left ahead; I'm not sure how to do, without this great man at my back; saying, "Daddy, believes in you." Mom says I've always been his pride and joy, his only little girl, Even though it was years ago that I outgrew ribbons and curls. Goodbye is not an easy thing, when you've had no time to say it; I just know that he is smiling on me, even when I don't feel its fit.
With each new day that passes, I return home in eager haste wishing there was just one more day, to cherish and not waste. One more day to be greeted with a smile, and hear him say to me "Hey-hey sweetheart," sitting in the chair, on the porch he'd be. But this wish will not be granted, I'm learning more each day so I have to face the tomorrows, as though I'm really okay.
Daddy was with me, when I meet my husband-to-be, and on the day I married, he stood in that isle with me. When I learn I'd be a mother, he held me in his arms and when I welcomed his grandchildren, I know they have his charm. Though I cannot see him anymore, I know he's very much still near I can feel Daddy's hands holding me now, and again I shed some tears.
Daddy, I know you hear me when I miss you and I cry I don't understand the reasons you had to leave, so I often question why. It's hard to live without you and to know that you're not there, when I stop myself from picking up the phone because I have some news to share. But I know I have your angel wings around me, guarding me night and day this road is long and lonesome; my dreams are our visits, all along the way.
I love and miss you with all my heart, Your Daughter

I'AM EVERYWHERE
Please don't mourn for me I'm still here, though you don't see I'm right by your side each night and day and within your heart I long to stay.
My body is gone but I'm always near I'm everything you feel, see or hear My spirit is free, but I'll never depart As long as you keep me alive in your heart
I'll never wander out of your sight I'm the brightest star on a summer night I'll never be beyond your reach I'm the colorful leaves when fall comes around
I'm the first warm raindrop that April will bring I'm the first ray of light when the sun starts the shine and you'll see that the face in the moon is mine
When you start thinking there's no one to love you you can talk to me through the Lord above you I'll whisper my answer through the leaves on the trees and you'll feel my presence in the soft summer breeze
I'am the hot salty tears that flow when you weep I'm the smile you see on a babys face Just look for me, I'm everyplace.....

A FATHERS TOUCH, A DADDYS KISS, A GRIEVING DAUGHTER, YOUR GREATLY MISSED.
AN EMPTY HOUSE, AN EMPTY CHAIR, A FATHERS LOVE, NO LONGER THERE.
A BROKEN HEART, TEAR FILLED EYE ANOTHER SOUL TO FILL THE SKY
MANY MEMORIES IN MY MIND, SOME I LAUGHT, SOME I CRY
THE TIMES WE SHARED, THE LAUGHS WE HAD, THINGS I MISS WHEN I THINK OF YOU DAD/RELIZING THATS ALL I HAVE TO HOLD ON TOO ONLY MEMORIES, OF WHAT ONCE WAS YOU.
MISSING YOUR LAUGHT, I WILL NEVER AGAIN HEAR, THAT IS THE REALITY THAT FILLS ME WITH SO MUCH FEAR.
NO MORE SMILE ON YOUR FACE, NO MORE WARMTH OF YOUR EMBRACE.
THE LAST HUG, THE LAST KISS. THE LAST "GOODBYE" LEAVE ME WITH ONE LAST WISH.
TO HAVE YOU DAD, HERE TODAY, NEVER TO LEAVE YOUR DAUGHTER THIS WAY.
A FATHERS TOUCH, A DADDY'S KISS, A GRIEVEING DAUGHTER, YOUR'RE GREATLY MISSED!

When I have no one to turn to And I am feeling kind of low, When there is no one to talk to And nowhere I want to go, I search deep within myself It is the love inside my heart That lets me know my Angels are there Even though we are miles apart.
A smile then appears upon my face And the sun begins to shine. I hear a voice, so soft and sweet Saying, 'Everything will be just fine' It may seem that I am alone But I am never by myself at all. Whenever I need my Angels near All I have to do is call.
An Angel's love is always true On that you can depend. They will always stand behind you And will always be your friend. Through darkest hours and brightest days Our Angel's see us through They smile when we are happy, and will cry when we are blue

We sat beside your bedside,
Our hearts were crushed
and sore;
We did our best to the end,
'Til we could do no more.
In tears we watched
you sinking,
We watched you fade away;
 And though our hearts
were breaking,
We knew you could not stay.
You left behind some
aching hearts,
That loved you most sincere;
We never shall and never will
Forget you Daddy dear.

We Love You...Daddy !!

Were you one of the Lucky Ones?
Did you get to meet the one that lived every day as if it were his last?
Did you see that smiling face, did you hear his infectious laugh?
Did you know the one that had a hug for even the ones that fussed at him?
Did you ever go somewhere and know when the life of the party arrived?
Did you know the one that could make the best of the worst situation?
Did you feel like you were a special person around him?
Did you ever feel so loved?
Were you one of the lucky ones... THAT GOT TO MEET MY DAD…

Daddy loved to speak of his earlier days and tell us stories, some happy and some sad. He will be most remembered by his family for his strength, courage and love. He was a man of great honor and one to never speak bad or cruel of anyone. For a man so big and strong he had a soft heart and this was a side of him that we cherish the most. All his children and grandchildren remember a man of kindness, dignity and a gentle hand. Even if you did wrong he still looked at you with love and pride, I don't think we could ever have disappointed him.
Our father is a large part of us and who we are. We miss him dearly and he will always be in our hearts

A Million Times A million times we've needed you, A million times we've cried. If love alone could have saved you, You never would have died.
If all the world
was ours to give, We would give it yes, and more, To see you coming up the steps, And walking through the door. To hear your voice and see you smile, To sit and talk a while, To be with you that same old way, Would be our finest day. A heart of gold stopped beating, Two smiling eyes closed to rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.

If you ever need me daddy, Look deep within my dreams. Dreams that never came true, Not meant to be it seems.
I'm there almost every night, As the dreams will never end. I dream to hide my tears and, for my lonely heart to mend.
I feel angel's love around me, They sense my lonely heart. And know the dreams I have of you, From me will never part.
I pray the dark clouds will drift away, That the sun will fall on me. But in the darkness of the night, It's you I always see.
In my heart you'll always be, In a very special place. That no other could ever take away, Or any dreams erase.

IF TEARS COULD BUILD A STAIRWAY AND MEMORIES WERE A LANE I WOULD WALK RIGHT UP TO HEAVEN TO BRING YOU HOME AGAIN NO FAREWELL WORDS WERE SPOKEN NO TIME TO SAY GOODBYE YOU WERE GONE BEFORE I KNEW IT AND ONLY GOD KNOWS WHY MY HEART STILL ACHES WITH SADNESS AND SECRET TEARS STILL FLOW WHAT IT MEANT TO LOSE YOU NO ONE WILL EVER KNOW

Daddy loved to help his children and see them achieve their goals. He was proud of all his children and his face would light up at the sight of his grandchildren. He was most proud of making sure all his children stayed together and his happiest times were those spent with us, holidays, family gatherings.

I’LL NEVER FORGET THE TIMES WE SHARED THROUGH THICK AND THIN YOU’D ALWAYS BE THERE YOU HAD ONE OF THE BIGGEST HEARTS I HAVE EVER SEEN NEVER TARNISHED WITH ENVY OR GREED YOUR HEART BLEED WITH KINDNESS AND LOVE NO MATTER WHAT THE SITUATION YOUR HEART WAS TRULY ONE OF GODS GREATEST CREATIONS YOUR SMILE WAS ALWAYS SO GENUINE AND TRUE IT’S NO WONDER WHY SO MANY PEOPLE KNEW AND LOVED YOU YOU WOULD HAVE GLADLY GIVEN THE SHIRT OFF YOUR BACK EVEN TO A PERFECT STRANGER NOT KNOWING HOW THEY’D REACT YOU SEE, THE BIGGEST CONCERN OF THIS AMAZING MAN WAS TO LEND ANYONE WHO NEEDED IT, A HELPING HAND

As you release this butterfly in honour of me, Know that I'm with you and will always be
Hold a hand, say a prayer, Close your eyes and see me there.
Although you may feel a bit torn apart, Please know that I'll be forever in your heart. Now fly away butterfly as high as you can go, I'm right there with you more than you know.
My Love For You....
My love for you will last an aternity. My hopes and dreams, Now carried on the fragile wings Of each butterfly passing, Compelling me to pause, To savour each moment, Each flutter in my heart Your wings.
We Remember You
At the rising of the sun and at its going down, We remember you. At the blowing of the wind and in the chill of winter, We remember you. At the opening of the buds and the rebirth of spring, We remember you.
At the blueness of the skies and in the warms of summer, We remember you. At the rustling of leaves and in the beauty of autumn, We remember you. At the beginning of the year and when it ends, We remember you.
As long as we live you too will live, for you are now a part of us, As we remember you. As long as we live you too will live, for you are noe a part of us,
Forever loved and remember.

FOR DAD A keepsake, a heartache, to cherish and hold, of a handsome dad more precious than gold.
No words, no verse could ever convey
how much I miss you more each day.
Whoever said feelings were healed by time could never have had a dad more precious than mine.
Each night I shed a tear as I speak to you in a prayer to let you know I love you and just how much I care.
Take a million of my tear drops, wrap them up in love, and ask the wind to carry them to you in heaven above.

Gone but Not Forgotten You were so full of life, Always smiling and carefree, Life loved you being a part of it, And I loved you being a part of me. You could make anyone laugh, If they were having a bad day,
No matter how sad I was, You could take the hurt away. Nothing could every stop you, Or even make you fall, You were ready to take on the world, Ready to do it all. But God decided he needed you, So from this world you left,
But you took a piece of all of us, Our hearts are what you kept. Your seat is now empty, And it's hard not to see your face, But please always know this, No one will ever take your place. You left without a warning, Not even saying good-bye,
And I can't seem to stop, Asking the question why? Nothing will ever be the same, The house is empty without your laughter, But I know you're in Heaven, Watching over us and looking after. I didn't see this coming, It hit me by surprise,
And when you left this world, A small part of me died. Your smile could brighten anyone's day, No matter what they were going through, And I know everyday for the rest of my life, We will be missing you.

I WILL BE MISSING YOU
You were so full of life Always smiling and carefree, Life loved you being part of it. And I love you being a part of me.
You could make anyone laugh. If they were having a bad day, No matter how sad I was, You could take the hurt away.
Nothing could ever stop you, Or even make you fall. You were ready to take on the world. Ready to do it all.
But God decided he needed you. So from this world you left. But you took a peace of all of us. Our hearts are what you kept.
Your seat is now empty, And it's hard not to see your face, But please always know this, No one will ever take your place.
You left without a warning. Not ever saying goodbye. And I can't seem to stop, Asking the question why.
Nothing will ever be the same, The halls are empty without your laughter. But I know you are up in heaven, Watching over an looking after us.
I didn't see it coming, It hit me by surprise. And when you left this world. A small part of us died.
Your smile could brighten anyone's day. No matter what they were going through.

Daddy, You taught us what love really is- the true unconditional kind that has no boundaries space or time
You always had a smile- even when you were crying. Our tears we cry for you now are there to let you know how much we loved you. I never realized how deeply you were rooted in my heart until this day.
This day you left and moved on in your journey- we were left here to wonder, what did you know that the rest of us did not. How did you endure so much in your life and still always find a way to smile.

Memories
If we could have a lifetime with A dream tht would come true, We'd pray to God with all our hearts For yesterday and You. A thousand words can't bring you back We know because we've tried.... Neither will a thousand tears We know because we've cried.... You left behind our broken hearts And happy memories too.... But we never wanted memories We only wanted You. We thought of you with love today, But that is nothing new. We thought about you yesterday And days before that too.
We think of you in silence We often speak your name. All we have now are memories And a picture in a frame.
Your memory is our keepsake With which we'll never part. God holds you in His arms We hold you in our hearts.

Dear Daddy, You were "My One & Only, My Dad" since you passed I've been so very lonely
As time goes on, I still can't believe thar your gone.
Not only were you my Dad, but my best friend, always someone to lean on again and again.
For you've always been "My One & Only" and that still true, perhaps thats why I will never be the same with out you.
Its so hard to go on, now that you're forever gone, but you're sending me the strength to carry on. I hear your voice everyday, and to me it sound like a song.
I will see you again, when we meet at the gates of heaven, There will never be another like you, for that i know is true, Which is why you will always be
"My One & Only, My Dad.

Daddy, Life is not fair I do not understand I reach out for you and want to hold your hand My life is not any better, since you've been gone I am trying daddy real hard to be strong There is an emptiness inside of me that won't go away. But my unconditional love for you is in my heart to stay. I wish I had just one more day there was so much more to say. Rest in Peace my Angel for I will always love you.

I Thought Of You
I thought of you with love today, but that is nothing new. I thought about you yesterday, and the day befor that too. I think of you in silence, I often say your name, But all I have is memories and your picture in a frame.
Your memory is my keepsake, with which I'll never part. God has you in his keeping, I have you in my heart. I shed tears for what might have been, a million times I've cried. If love alone could have saved you, you never would have died.
In life I loved you dearly, in death I love you still, In my heart you hold a place no one could ever fill. It broke my heart to lose you, but you didn't go alone For part of me went with you, the day God took you home

Wonderful Grandparents

Daddy making his first communion

Death is nothing at all. I have only slipped away into the next room. I am I and you are you. Whatever we were to each other we still are. Call me by my old familiar name,
speak to me in the easy way you always used to. Put no difference in your tone, wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow. Laugh as we always laughed at the jokes we enjoyed. Pray, smile and think of me. Let my name be ever the household word that it always was.
Let it be spoken without effect and with no trace of a shadow on it. Life means all that it ever meant. It is the same as it ever was. Why should I be out of mind just because I am out of sight? I am waiting for you somewhere very near. I am just around the corner.

Missing You Dad
No words I write can ever say How much I miss you every day. As time goes by, the loneliness grows, How I miss you, nobody knows! I think of you in silence, I often speak your name,
But all I have are memories And photos in a frame. No one knows my sorrow, No one sees me weep, But the love I have for you Is in my heart to keep.
I've never stopped missing you I know I never will; Deep inside my heart, You are with me still. Heartaches in this world are many
But mine & Jen's are worse than any. My heart still aches as I whisper low, "I need you and I miss you so." The things we feel so deeply Are often the hardest to say,
But I just can't keep quiet any more, So I'll tell you anyway. There is a place in my heart That no one else can fill; I love you so, Dad, And I always will.

What Makes A Dad
A Dad is a person who is loving and kind, And often he knows what you have on your mind. He's someone who listens, suggests, and defends.
A dad can be one of your very best friends! He's proud of your triumphs, but when things go wrong, A dad can be patient and helpful and strong In all that you do, a dad's love plays a part. There's always a place for him
deep in your heart. And each year that passes, you're even more glad, More grateful and proud just to call him your dad! Thank you, Dad... for listening and caring, for giving and sharing, but, especially, for just being you!

Our Wonderful Dad

Dad...so many images come to mind whenever I speak your name; It seems without you in my life things have never been the same.
What happened to those lazy days when I was just a child; When my life was consumed in you in your love, and in your smile.
What happened to all those times when I always looked to you; No matter what happened in my life you could make my grey skies blue.
Dad, some days I hear your voice and turn to see your face; Yet in my turning...it seems the sound has been erased.
Dad, who will I turn to for answers when life does not make sense; Who will be there to hold me close when the pieces just don't fit.
Oh, Dad, if I could turn back time and once more hear your voice; I'd tell you that out of all the dads you would still be my choice.
Please always know I love you

 DAD
A Father Just Like You
I just wanted to let you know You meant the world to me Only a heart as dear as yours Would give so unselfishly
The many things you've done All the times you were there Help me know deep inside How much you really cared
Even though i might not have said I appreciated all you've done Richly blessed is how i feel Having a Father just like you!
I LOVE & MISS YOU DAD!

The moment that you died, Our hearts split in two, The one side filled with memories, The other died with you.
We often lay awake at night, When the world is fast asleep, And take a trip down memory lane, With tears upon our cheeks.

Remembering you is easy We do it everyday, But missing you is a heartache, That never goes away
We hold you tightly within our hearts And there you will remain Life has gone by without you, But it will never be the same.
For those who still have their dad, Treat him with tender care, You will never know the emptiness, As when you turn and he is not there.

A fathers love
A father`s means so many things A understanding heart, A source of strength and support. Right from the very start, A constant readiness to help In a kind and thoughtful way.
With encouragement and forgiveness, No matter what come your way, A special generosity and always affection, too. Then God combined these qualities When there was nothing to more to add He knew his masterpiece was complete And so .....
He called him DAD

HE WAS MY DAD
It's amazing how one person who brought me a thousands joys, Left me shedding a thousand tears. It was back when I played with toys, And he was the knight in shining armor who chased away my fears. I am now left wondering, why did it have to be you? Why did goodbye have to be so soon? I am left feeling like my life is through.
Why do we have to walk the moon, To be closer to the sun? These tears will never cease, Though they have just begun. I hate to say that your deceased, But everyday I can only pray, That I can celebrate life as a sun setting, Because as they say, The only real death is forgetting.
But now I know we will make amends, And I will look forward to something that isn't sad, We will be together in the end, Just me and my dad

This Memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Anthony Delpozzo who was born on June 26, 1936 and passed away on April 09, 2006 at the young age of 69. Tony was a man full of love, laughter and dedication. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and his ongoing
affection towards everyone he would meet.Tony was family man with family values. He had a heart of gold, and a smile that would light up a room. Tony enjoyed cooking and fishing, to of his unfading passions. He sang to the Tunes of Jimmy Roselli, Dean Martin and Bobby Darren, and enjoyed sharing this music with his grandchildren, who grew to love it, just as much as he did. Tony took pride in every thing he did, he was a man of steel, with hands of hard work and motivation. He left behind a beautiful family who will never forget his loving ways and relentless generousity. Tony will forever remain the glue that holds the family together. He was an amazing son who took care of his mother Florence for 26 years after
his father had passed away. His wife Vera will always remember the wonderful memories they shared for 47 years, and his three children will carry on all the beautiful memories he gave to them , and his nine grandchildren will never forget there number one poppy.Anyone who knew Tony understands the blessing it was to have had him in our lives, He was a miracle, and is an angel among us. The best love is the kind that awakens the soul and makes us reach for more, that plants a fire in our hearts and brings peace to our minds, that is what he has given us. Live every day smiling for Tony, Love for him and love because of him, and give to the heavens more then just one passing glance. We will forever love and miss you Dad.

I WILL LOVE YOU
As long as I can dream, As long as I can think, As long I have memory... I will love you
As long as I have eyes to see and ears to hear and lips to speak... I will love you.
As long as I have a heart to feel, a soul stirring with in, An imagination to hold you... I will love you.
As long as there is time, As long there is love, As long as I have a breath to speak your name...
Because I love you more than anything... In all the world.

I Miss My Dad
Behind the biggest storm clouds the wind and all that rain the sun shall rise above and we shall smile again. Although there is a huge hole
an arrow through our hearts with love and precious memories we'll make a brand new start. With the grace of a butterfly an eagle flying high The Lord has taken our precious Dad way up into the sky.
But with every forming rainbow and every river bend If we all smile together our hearts will start to mend. So let's all smile together our Dad to only please and maybe with some time the pain will start to ease...

A FATHER IS A PERSON WHO GOES TO WAR SOMETIMES AND WOULD RUN THE OTHER WAY EXCEPT THAT WAR IS PART OF HIS ONLY IMPORTANT JOB IN HIS LIFE, WHICH IS MAKING THE WORLD BETTER FOR HIS CHILDREN THEN IT HAS BEEN FOR HIM

A Dad is a person who is loving and kind, And often he knows what you have on your mind. He's someone who listens, suggests, and defends. A dad can be one

FATHERS GROW OLDER FASTER THAN PEOPLE BECAUSE THEY, IN OTHER WARS, HAVE TO STAND AT THE TRAIN STATION AND WAVE GOODBYE TO THE UNIFORM THAT CLIMBS ONBOARD, AND WHILE MOTHERS CRY WHERE IT SHOWS, FATHERS STAND AND BEAM..... OUTSIDE...AND DIE INSIDE

Dad a picture of you hangs on my wall. Bringing you back, reminding us all, How great it was when you were here, Memories surface, so precious and dear. A soul so beautiful, Loving and kind, Time stands still as you float through my mind. We can see you happy, living out your life, A Son, Husband, Father for life. Time resumes and reality stings, We continue our lives and whatever life may bring, I will never forget you, Dear Father of mine, I thought living without you, the sun would never shine. Your proved me wrong when you left, your memory didn't go, Your still here with me, oh how was I to know. You only left in body, your spirit still goes strong, Daddy, always know in our hearts our love for you will always grow.

My time has come, so it's time for us to let go, It hurts us both, I know. But you don't need me with you now, i'm not the one that makes you strong. The strength you needed and thanked me for, was inside you all along.
Heres my time to move on, you helped me through sun and war, you always said I was your guide, but without you I never would have made it this far.
You'll be ok without me, I'll keep watch over you from beyond the light. So dont think youve lost me forever, Im always alive in your dreams at night.
I promise i'll always carry you inside my heart, and think of you till the day we meet again. So dry your tears and smile for me, despite the pain, this is not the end.
So say goodbye but not forever because a bond like ours can never be broken, and please stay strong & remember me, and be glad for all the feelings that don't need to be spoken. We both know this day would come, one day we'd have to part but you, my Family, I'll always carry, within a special place inside my heart

A FATHER IS A PERSON WHO IS FORCED TO ENDURE CHILDBIRTH WITHOUT AN ANESTHETIC. HE GROWLS WHEN HE FEELS GOOD AND LAUGHS VERY LOUD WHEN HE IS SCARED HALF TO DEATH. A FATHER NEVER FEELS ENTIRELY WORTHY OF THE WORSHIP IN A CHILDS EYES. HE IS NEVER QUITE THE HERO HIS DAUGHTER THINKS...
NEVER QUITE THE MAN HIS SON BELIEVES HIM TO BE AND THIS WORRIES HIM SOMETIMES. SO HE WORKS TOO HARD TO TRY TO SMOOTH THE ROUGH PLACES IN THE ROAD ON THOSE OF HIS OWN WHO WILL FOLLOW HIM.

 WHAT MAKES A DAD
God took the strength of a mountain, The majesty of a tree, The warmth of a summer sun, The calm of a quiet sea, The generouse soul of nature, The comforting arm of night, The wisdom of the ages,
The power of the eagles's flight, The joy of a morning in spring, The faith of a mustard seed, The patience of eternity, The depth of a family need, Then God combined these qualities, When there was nothing more to add, He knew his masterpiece was complete, and so, He called it....DAD

Father's Are Wonderful People
Fathers are wonderful people Too little understood, And we do not sing their praises As often as we should...
For, somehow, Father seems to be The man who pays the bills, While Mother binds up little hurts And nurses all our ills...
And Father struggles daily To live up to "his image" As protector and provider And "hero of the scrimmage"...
And perhaps that is the reason We sometimes get the notion, That Fathers are not subject To the thing we call emotion,
But if you look inside Dad's heart, Where no one else can see You'll find he's sentimental And as "soft" as he can be...
But he's so busy every day In the gruelling race of life, He leaves the sentimental stuff To his partner and his wife...
But Fathers are just wonderful In a million different ways, And they merit loving compliments And accolades of praise,
For the only reason Dad aspires To fortune and success Is to make the family proud of him And to bring them happiness...
And like Our Heavenly Father, He's a guardian and a guide, Someone that we can count on To be always on our side.
